Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a central regional clean-up event

On 27 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a central regional clean-up event dedicated to the annual regional competition EcoSpring 2024.

During the event Rustam Minnikhanov talked to active members of ecological organizations, who told him about their projects, gave start to the clean-up and took part in planting trees and bushes.

Talking to participants of the event, the Rais of the republic thanked everyone who is taking part in it and said: “We have gathered here today and this is a wonderful location. In the whole we have many beautiful places in the republic and we should take care of their condition and preserve them. I am very grateful to our volunteers – they not only bring our parks and forests into order and clean them up from litter but also do preventive work at schools and other organizations.”

Reporting at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov  informed that during the first four weeks of the clean-up event 125 thousand people disposed nearly 50 thousand cubic meters of solid municipal waste and planted more than 24 thousand trees and bushes.
