Rustam Minnikhanov meets Turkish Deputy Trade Minister Mahmut GÜRCAN

On 22 April, speaking at his meeting with Turkish Deputy Trade Minister Mahmut GÜRCAN on the sidelines of the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We attach great importance to the development of Tatarstan-Turkey trade –economic and investments cooperation aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Turkey.” 

He reminded that Turkey is one of the leading foreign partners of Tatarstan with the trade turnover having made 2.9bn US dollars last year, demonstrating the 2.5 times growth. He also informed that Turkish companies have invested about 2.5bn dollars into the republic. 

Rustam Minnikhanov asked to pass words of gratitude to the administration of Turkey for overall support of all Tatarstan projects.
