Rustam Minnikhanov: Navoi region possesses substantial natural resources and has well-developed industry and agriculture

On 21 April, speaking at his meeting with Khokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Uzbekistan, told about importance of work between the regions. He stated that Navoi region possesses substantial natural resources and has well-developed industry and agriculture.

“Lately we actively interact with Uzbekistan partners, attaching special attention to such new projects as the KIP-Master on establishing an industrial park at the Special Economic Zone of Navoi,” he emphasized. 

In his turn the Khokim of the region emphasized that the project is supported by the President of the country and thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his personal attention to implementation of the industrial park.

At the meeting, the Rais of the republic was also demonstrated the facilities to be built at the industrial park in Navoi such as two production buildings equipped with all necessary engineering and transport infrastructure which then will be leased to the industrial park residents.
