Rustam Minnikhanov: The Movement of the First provides wide opportunity for youngsters’ self-realization

On 19 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening the Regional Forum “Alga! Let’s get started!” held by the All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “The Movement of the First” in Kazan.

Before the beginning of the ceremony kids told the Rais of the republic about projects being implemented by them in zoology volunteering, educational events in traffic safety and others.

Welcoming participants of the Forum, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Movement organized by the initiative of the national leader Vladimir Putin plays an important role in patriotic upbringing of the younger generation and provides wide opportunities.

He reminded that for the short time since the establishment of the regional department of the Movement its club have appeared in every school, youth and teenagers centers Currently there are 1 500 primary units, which comprise more than 54 500 people, working in the republic, organizing a large number of diverse events for kids and teenagers.

“If we do not love our native land, our near and dear ones and will not preserve our traditions there will be no any future for us. However, there is no such a menace for us and mostly due to such dedicated and active young people as you are. You have all opportunities for self-realization and achieving success. In our turn we will support all your beginnings”, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

The Forum which has brought together more than 1 000 children and teenagers and mentors of the Movement will continue in Kazan till 30 April.
