Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: As many as 1m 456 thousand square meters of housing or 46% of the planned have been commissioned in the republic

On 13 April, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam with the regional prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin taking part in it, the regional Minister of Construction, architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported that as of 13 April housing builders have fulfilled 46 per cent of the yearly plan by having commissioned 1m 456 thousand square meters.

He said that the largest amount of housing was in the individual houses construction with 9 060 houses being completed and also informed participants of the meeting about situation in construction of multi-apartment commercial and social mortgage houses

Marat Ayzatullin also reported about 4 programmes providing accommodation to orphans, young families, families with many children and forces migrants from the Far North and Chernobyl liquidator.

He told participants of the meeting about implementation of programmes in the spheres of education infrastructure, healthcare, youth policy and sports as well of programmes in culture, ecology and construction of executive committees’ facilities in the regions of the republic

The regional Minister also informed about work being done by 5 regional and two federal programmes for renewal of grids and modernization of communal infrastructure.

In conclusion of his report Marat Ayzatullin told about accidents at construction sites and checks carried out by regional and state construction surveillance bodies in 2024 and reminded that voting for the choice of public spaces to be improved in the current year finishes in less than two weeks.
