On April 11, in the Galeevskaya Mosque of Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a festive prayer dedicated to one of the main Muslim holidays - Eid al-Fitr, which was held by the Head of Muslims Spiritual Board of Tatarstan, the Mufti of the republic Kamil hazrat Samigullin, who read out congratulations on the holiday of Eid al-Fitr on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
In his sermon, the Mufti of Tatarstan urged to support Russian soldiers who are currently performing combat missions in the special military operation zone and emphasized their dedication and heroism.
Samigullin said that Putin declared 2024 the Year of the Family in the country and emphasized that the preservation of traditional family values is the key to the stable development of society and the state. The Mufti of Tatarstan also focused on the issue of Islamic finance. Today, in a number of regions of Russia, an experiment is being implemented to introduce the principles of partner banking. Residents of Tatarstan have already been able to evaluate halal banking products that meet Shariah standards. Eid al-Adha is one of the main Muslim holidays, marking the end of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
