Mintimer Shaimiev votes in the Russian presidential elections

On March 16, the State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev came to the polling station in the village of Borovoe Matyushino, Laishevsky region of the republic  and voted in the Russian presidential elections.

After the vote, Mintimer Shaimiev noted: “This is an eventful day, because we are electing the leader of the country. We should make a conscious choice. We have become generally better at the present conditions, despite any restrictions. We are electing the leader of the country. It is very important. My opinion as a voter: the Russian Federation and economic development are at a decent level.”
