On March 15, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with his wife came to the polling station № 42 on Karl Marks street, 10 and voted in the Russian presidential elections.
Minnikhanov was also given a special bracelet with the inscription “Bring the whole family to the elections,” which provides free travel on public transport for all three voting days and visiting a festive concert.
For the first time the presidential elections will be held in a multi-day format - from March 15 to 17. In Tatarstan, a lot of organizational work was carried out under the election campaign.
As many as 2,767 polling stations have been prepared for voting, including 45 at temporary residence sites for citizens. There are 2,928,633 registered voters in Tatarstan.
