The Rais of Tatarstan: the Kazan Helicopter Plant is a high-status enterprise

On March 11, speaking at a meeting with the employees of the Kazan Helicopter Plant, which was held on the eve of a solemn ceremony of handing in five new MI-8MTB-1 helicopters to operating organizations, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Kazan Helicopter Plant is one of the largest aircraft manufacturing enterprises in the country and one of the main calling cards of Tatarstan. He said that the full cycle of helicopter creation is implemented here: from development and serial production to after-sales support and staff training.

“For us, the Kazan Helicopter Plant is a high-status enterprise that solves problems on a national scale. Your helicopters are in great demand. A solid portfolio of civil orders has been formed for the next few years,” the Rais of Tatarstan emphasized. He said that due to the federal support, the plant is implementing a large-scale project to modernize and expand production.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the staff of the Kazan helicopter plant for their conscientious work and worthy contribution to the development of the country.
