Rustam Minnikhanov: In today’s times difficult for our country, our women are a reliable tower of strength for those who protect security of Russia at the special military operation

On 7 March, speaking at a solemn meeting dedicated to the International Women’s Day and held at the Korston Recreation Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that in today’s times difficult for our country, our women are a reliable tower of strength for those who protect security of Russia at the special military operation. The State Counselor of the Republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Chairman of the regional State Council Farit Mukhametshin and the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin also took part in the event.

“From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you with the International Women’s Day. Today here we have representatives of the best half of the humankind who successfully work in different spheres of live, do business and carry research, serve for the good of the Fatherland and some of them dedicated their lives to raising children. Each of you is remarkable in your own way. Your passion and dedication cause admiration and respect,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He stated that the mood and atmosphere in the families mostly depend upon guardians of the hearth. “It is extremely important as it is in the families that our main spiritual values and traditions and love to the Motherland are formed. That is why the President of our country announced the year of 2024 to be The Year of the Family,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.

He said that Tatarstan has always attached great attention to issues of the family and to raise its authority and as a sign of special respect to a mother it established regional medals “The Ana Dany – Motherhood” and “The Parent’s Valour”. He also informed that he signed a decree on raising money rewards for these sonorous titles.

Having once again congratulated women with the coming holiday, Rustam Minnikhanov handed in a number of state awards of the republic to representatives from the spheres of education, culture, medicine and agribusiness and relatives of the participants of the special military operation.
