Rustam Minnikhanov visits the renovated Gymnasium N19 in Kazan

On 28 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the renovated Gymnasium N19 located in a densely populated district of Kazan. 

Today the gymnasium has more than 1 800 children and 104 teachers and last year the main building of the gymnasium underwent capital overhaul. 

On top of that in December 2023 builders commissioned an additional edifice erected by the national project “Education”, which made it possible to increase the number of schoolchildren. The new facility has 12 classrooms, a school canteen for 372 seats, a gym, a multifunctional co-working space and an additional wardrobe.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the new educational facilities, talked to children and discussed further development of the gymnasium with its administration.
