Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the progress of construction of the first section tunnel of the second line of the Kazan metro from the Sakharova station to the Fuchika station

On February 26, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Director General of Kazmetrostroy Marat Rakhimov visited the construction site of the 10th microdistrict metro station and was informed about the course of construction.

Rakhimov reported on the progress of construction of the first section of the tunnel of the second line of the metro from the station «Academic Sakharov» to the station «Yulius Fuchik Street». Thus, the tunnel complex «Aisylu» has already left to the station «10th microdistrict» (the right distillation tunnel station «100th anniversary of TASSR» - the station «10th microdistrict». Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony of starting the work on the tunnel complex on the left side tunnel of the station «10th Microdistrict» - station «Yulius Fuchik Street».

The second line of the Kazan metro will connect five districts of the city: Privolzhsky, Sovetsky, Novo-Savinovsky, Moskovsky and Kirovsky. The first 5.37 km long section, includes four stations named: “Yulius Fuchik Street”, “10th Microdistrict”, “100th Anniversary of the TASSR” and “Academic Sakharov”.
