During his visit to Kazan Vladimir Putin flies the strategic missile carrier TU-160M

On 22 February during his working trip to Kazan, Russian President Vladimir Putin took a flight on the strategic missile carrier TU-160M, which is the largest supersonic plane with variable-span wing in the history of military aviation and also one of the most powerful combat planes in the world.

The day before the Head of the State together with the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kazan Aircraft Plant where he got acquainted with the progress of the enterprise modernization and sat at the control wheel in the cockpit of one of the TU-160M missile carriers.
