Rustam Minnikhanov: Our relations with China are an example of how inter-stet relations should be built in the modern world

On 21 February in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Chen U, who heads a delegation from China that arrived to Kazan by an invitation from Russia to take part in the events of the Games of the Future. 

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that over the last years Russia-China relations have reached an unprecedented level. “Our cooperation is an example of how inter-state relations should be built in the modern world. Attention of leaders of our countries to bilateral connections opens a lot of opportunities for interregional cooperation of Russia and China,” he said. 

He attracted attention to the fact that at its level Tatarstan tries to make its contribution into development of Russia-China relations. ”There are a lot of spheres for interaction of business communities, such as trade and economic cooperation, implementation of joint investments projects, cooperation in IT, including that with the University of Innopolis and healthcare,” the Rais of the republic said. 

In his turn Chen U stated that he is happy to visit Kazan and get acquainted with its rich history. “I want to congratulate you with hosting such an important event. It is a great honor for us to take part in the Games of the Future,” he emphasized.
