Roman Shaykhutdinov: Students of advance engineering school for the Innopolis University develop software already from the first year

On 15 February Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, representatives of the Innopolis University and Vice-president of Rostelecom Company in development, the member of the University Expert Council Dariy Khalitov took part in a meeting held by Russian Minister of Science and Education Valeriy Falkov in Moscow, where universities-participants of the unique project of advanced engineering schools made reports for 2023.

The Deputy Director of the University, who is  the head of the Innopolis advance engineering school Iskander Bariyev reported about new IT solutions developed at the university, work in training new generation of IT-engineers, opening of a cyber-physics lab “Innocyberpoligon”, corporate educational space  VK Education and development of the IT-infrastructure, including that for teaching AI models.

He also told about plans for the current year, including launching educational labs, training specialists, introduction and adjustment of the school products in the Rostelecom ecosystem and others.

Speaking at the meeting, Roman Shaykhutdinov emphasized that the hallmark of the Innopolis advanced engineering school was the created ecosystem which unites industry, professors – practical experts and students. This makes it possible to quickly commercialize the solutions developed here. On top of that the educational spaces of the school have cut-through software due to which all students pass all the stages of different roles in programme developing and by their graduation are ready for implementation of large scale projects.
