Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a resulting collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade

On 12 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a resulting collegium of regional Ministry of Industry and Trade held with participation of Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, the Head of the Mariy El Yuriy Zaytsev, regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials in the Recreational Center after V. Lenin in Kazan. The meeting was dedicated to results of the Ministry work in 2023 and tasks for 2024.

Before the event started, the Rais of the republic and accompanying him persons  looked round an exposition of produce of industrial enterprises of the republic, where 50 enterprises and universities presented their new developments such as heavy KAMAZ trucks, Sollers buses, tractors and various ships and military vehicles. On top of that the Kama Company exhibited the Atom electric car platform, which is a set of designers and industrial solutions which can be scaled up to other electric car models.

Rustam Minnikhanov also was present at signing of agreement between autonomous non-profit organization “Russian Quality System” (RosKachestvo) and the Tatarstan Muslims Spiritual Board and between the private organization of the products quality control “Halal Standard Committee” and the Board.  

Speaking at the meeting, the key note speaker, the regional Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko reported about scientific and technological development of enterprises as a condition for technological safety of Russia.

He informed that oil refinery increased by more than 1m tonnes in Tatarstan last year which made possible the growth of petrol production by 11 per cent. He also said that according to the results of 2023 the shipped produce reached 4.7 trillion rubles and the industrial production grew by 3.3 per cent. Oleg Korobchenko added that oil production index remained at the level of 2022 and the share of processing productions exceeded 71 per cent.
