Congratulation from Rustam Minnikhanov with the Day of Russian Science

In his congratulatory address the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated numerous representatives of scientific community of the republic with the Day of Russian Science

In his congratulation he said: “This year it is a special day as the Russian Academy of Sciences celebrates its 300th birthday. I join to congratulations to the Academy and wish its team new achievements for the good of the Motherland.

Human capital, new knowledge and technologies are the most important drivers of sustainable social and economic development. And that is why the year of 2024 is declared as the year of scientific and technological development in Tatarstan.

One of our key priorities is the overall support of hard labor of scientists and it brings its results.

Five universities of the republic are participants of the Strategic Academic Leadership Programme and there are six advanced engineering schools and one of the world level research centers in oil production. Just recently a world class university campus of the High Oil School was opened with participation of President Vladimir Putin. Tatarstan occupies leading positions among Russian regions in the total number of winners of the federal Startup competition and ranks second after Moscow in the national ranking of scientific and technological developments of regions.

It goes without saying that your academic community has made a substantial contribution into success of the republic.”

In conclusion Rustam Minnikhanov wished scientists of the republic new brave ideas, beginnings and disruptive scientific results as well as good health and all the best.
