On 7 February at their working meeting in St Petersburg, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Gazprom Board Aleksey Miller discussed the progress of work in gasification and other spheres of cooperation.
The participants of the meeting paid special attention to work of Gazprom in implementation of the rpogrammes of gas supply and gasification of Tatarstan by the end of 2025.
In December 2023 the Gazprom commissioned the reconstructed gas pipeline – a delivery point with the gas-distributing station Yubileynaya in Laishevo region of the republic. The new station is built from Russia equipment and its capacity has been increased 5 times compared to the previous station - up to 70 thousand cubic meters of gas an hour (more than 600m cubic meters a year).
Currently the company is preparing to reconstruct and reequip a number of other facilities and to complete gasification by laying free gas pipeline net up to the household boundaries.
The company has completed 90 per cent of 26 200 contracts signed with the residents of the republic. Medical and educational organizations are also moving to pipeline gas. Today pipelines have been laid to boiler plants of 11 organizations in Alkeevskiy, Alekseyevskiy, Arsk, Bugulma, Buinsk, Kamskoye-Ustye, Saby, Sarman and Tukay regions of Tatarstan.
