Rustam Minnikhanov at unveiling a monument to Murtaza Rakhimov: He is an important state leader for the whole of Russia and an example for all us how we should work

On 7 February, speaking at a ceremony of unveiling a monument to the First Bashkortostan President Murtaza Rakhimov dedicated to his 90th birthday and held in Ufa, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Murtaza Rakhimov “is an important state leader for the whole of Russia and an example for all us how we should work”.

“We are proud to be at this ceremony. Murtaza Rakhimov is not just an important state leader of Bashkortostan but also an important Russian state leader, a man who is a role model. I knew his personally and for many he is an example how we should work. From the bottom of my heart I wish the brotherly people of Bashkortostan development and success. Thank you for erecting this monument here in Ufa,” he said.
