Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in an expanded meeting of the collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food

On 30 January the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part an expanded meeting of the collegium of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food dedicated to results of the agribusiness work in 2023 and tasks for 2024, which was held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

Before the meeting the Rais of the republic accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and other officials looked round and exhibition of outsizal equipment and got acquainted with the exposition showing products of self-employed, scientific organizations and small farms.

The VI specialized agricultural exhibition of regional agribusiness achievements is held at the Kazan Expo from 29 to 31 January and more than 200 companies from all over Russia demonstrate agricultural machinery, equipment  and raw material for efficient cattle breeding, crop growing and equipment for processing, storage and packaging of agricultural produce.

In 2023 farmers of the republic harvested more than 3.6m tonnes of grain and produced nearly 2.2m tonnes of milk which makes 107.5 per cent compared to 2022.
