Rustam Minnikhanov: As many as 87 people awarded with the badge “To the resident of Sieged Leningrad” live in Tatarstan

On 27 January, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that today 87 people awarded with the badge “To the resident of Sieged Leningrad” live in Tatarstan.

‘Nowhere in the world had a city survived such a long siege and held its ground despite all difficulties and losses. It is an example of heroism, unbelievable resilience and courage of our people,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
