Rustam Minnikhanov: The main task for today is the quick removal of snow

On 27 January, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the quick removal of snow is the most important task for today. 

He urged the community services to ramp up work in snow cleaning and removal and cleaning inner-block, rural settlements and pedestrians zones from snow. “Of course the amounts are big but nobody will remove this snow but us. These days it is the issue number one for all heads of cities and regions. It is important to free passages for public transport, emergency vehicles and for timely disposal of garbage. It is also important to monitor the assortment in trade chains,” the Rais of the republic said. 

He gave an errand to supply all necessary equipment to community service workers, who are involved in snow removal and provide hot meals for them.
