On 26 January in his congratulation of Customs officers and old stagers with their professional holiday, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said; “On behalf of the Tatarstan Government I congratulate you with the International Customs Officers Day. It is considered that the World customs Organization was born on 26 January 1953 when the first session of the Customs Cooperation Council began its work in Brussels.
For the first time the International Customs Officers Day was celebrated in 1983 when the Customs become 30 years old.
Every day customs officers of our country use the best world standards and advanced digital technologies, the system of risk management and an e-customs declaration with an e-signature.
All times the Customs guarded against interests of the state preserving national security and cultural values.
Under the conditions of dynamically developing foreign economic and trade relations, the role and meaning of the Customs bodies is growing. Moreover the increase of investments attractiveness of the region and development of international relations mostly depend on quality and quickness of the work of the Customs.”
In conclusion Aleksey Peoshin expressed his gratitude to the Customs officers and old stagers and wished them and their families good health and prosperity.
