On 24 January in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of handing in new vehicles to medical establishments of the republic, where he  passed to the regional Healthcare Minister  24 certificates for new cars, including 22 ambulances and 2 mobile complexes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that medicine and life quality of people are inextricably linked to each other. “Medical aid, the high tech medical aid is that complex which makes it possible to improve life quality of our residents. Improvement of material and technical base of medical establishments and new cars are an opportunity to move quickly and make decisions and to provide timely medical help. Part on these 24 vehicles has been paid for from the federal and a part – from the regional budgets. I would like to remind that the Head of our state Vladimir Putin attaches huge attention to support and development of healthcare and support given to medical establishments. Tatarstan takes part in all federal projects and gets huge support from the Russian Healthcare Ministry. And this is not just a financial support but intellectual, educational and other forms of help. Godspeed! Let this transport work for the good of our republic,” he concluded.

The Aid to the Russian Healthcare Minister Oksana Guseva, who also took part in the ceremony, said she is “very pleased to take part in it as handing in ambulances is like handing in a second home to doctors.  You spend most of your time at work saving lives of our citizens. I wish you all the best1 May new cars be comfortable and cozy for you and bring fewer troubles”.
