Mintimer Shaimiev fulfills Timur Galiev's New Year's wish: the boy visited Tatarmultfilm

State Counselor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in voluntary action “Christmas Tree of wishes” and fulfilled the New Year’s wish of 7 year old Timur Galiev from Kazan.

On December 19, Mintimer Shaimiev took the post card with Timur’s wish from the Christmas tree erected in the lobby of the Korston Recreation Center, where he dreams of visiting the studio where cartoons are created.

Today Timur Galiev and his mother Natalya visited the Tatarmultfilm association. Studio Director Azat Ganiev and Deputy Head of the Administration of Rais of Tatarstan - Head of the Secretariat of the State Counselor of Tatarstan Oleg Glebov met the guests. Chief Director of the Tatarstan animation factory Sergey Kiatrov with the participation of several animators conducted the tour for Timur.

During the excursion, Timur learned what a script, storyboard, animation, illustrator and animation are. He was informed about cartoon characters made of plasticine and also showed original shots of the Soviet cartoon about Neznajka on celluloid «sheets» and devices from which animation began in the XIX century.
