On 15 January, speaking at an event dedicated to the Russian Prosecutor’s Day held with participation of the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that today prosecutors fulfill with credit their complex and responsible tasks on supporting the law and order in the republic.
The event started with reading out the video congratulations from Russian President Vladimir Putin which said: “For more than 300 years of their history prosecutors have beyond reasonable doubt confirmed their important and authoritative role and their special purpose of serving the law and the Fatherland. And the modern prosecution is one of the most important institutions of the state power. Your work is traditionally linked with protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, ensuring the surveillance of federal and regional law enforcement.”
In his video address to his colleagues, the Russian General Prosecutor Igor Krasnov said that every year the employees of the agency grow their capacity, broaden skills and maintain their efficiency.
Rustam Minnikhanov stated that protection of social and economic rights of citizens including families of the mobilized, underage and entrepreneurs, law enforcement in the spheres of economy and defense complex as well as fighting crime are just a part of priority issues controlled by the prosecution of the republic.
Having reminded about events to be held in Tatarstan in 2024, he emphasized that with the participation of prosecutors the republic should hold all these events at the high level and ensure their safety.
In conclusion the Rais of the republic said: “The administration of Tatarstan feels your comprehensive support in solving tasks the republic faces. I would like to express sincere gratitude for your service and dedication.”
After the regional Prosecutor Albert Suyargulov told about work done by the office in 2023, he and Rustam Minnikhanov handed in a number of state and ministry awards to the most outstanding workers of prosecution.
