Rustam Minnikhanov visits several facilities under construction in Kazan

On 9 January the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of the regional Cabinet of Ministers Office Shamil Gafarov and the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin visited a number of construction sites in Kazan.

At first Rustam Minnikhanov came to the construction site of a new edifice of the Tatar State Academic Theater after Galiaskar Kamal being built on the bank of Lake Kaban, where he was told about the progress of construction work such as the structure of the enforced concrete frame of the building and insulation of its basement walls.

Later the same day the Rais of the republic went to the construction sites of a hotel complex by the Millennium bridge and a Children’s Park on the Kazanka Embankment where the Director of the Institute of Tatarstan Cities Development Nailya Zinnatullina told him about work being done, such as reconstruction of a new staircase to the Fuks Public Garden, installation of lighting poles and further construction of footpaths.
