Rustam Minnikhanov to state award laureates: You are making a substantial contribution into development of our republic

On 25 December at the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of Russia and the republic to 53 residents of the republic. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that Tatarstan is the basic region of the Russian Federation., bringing to live large scale investment, social and economic and infrastructural projects. “Under current conditions we have managed to ensure the growth of main economic results. We highly appreciate comprehensive support and help from our President Vladimir Putin and the Government of the country. It goes without saying that everyone who is sitting in this room today is making his or her substantial contribution into development of our republic,” he said. 

The Rais of the republic emphasized that under conditions of unprecedented pressure on the country, the implementation of the most ambitious projects is going on. “We can say for sure that external challenges and threats have only brought us together. We are proud of Tatarstan residents who courageously protect our country and its future. Today we have here with us participants of the special military operation (SMO), workers of local enterprises who are making a substantial contribution into ensuring the technological sovereignty and defense capacity of the country and heads of organizations taking an active part in organizing support to participants of the SMO and their families”, he continued.

Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned university and school teachers, who “are building the future of our country,” and expressed deep gratitude to labour old stagers and workers of various branches of industry and clergy. 

The coming year has been declared the Year of the Family in Russia. At the same time it will be the Year of Scientific and Technological development in the republic. “We are facing new large scale tasks such as large international events and the most important political events such as the election of Russian President. I am sure residents of Tatarstan will make a correct choice for the good of the country. Joining our efforts we will be able to achieve the highest results,” Rustam Minnikhanov concluded.
