Rustam Minnikhanov meets participant of the auto rally “From Kremlin to Kremlin” dedicated to opening of M-12

On 21 December at 1st  May Square in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhamov met participants of a rally “From the Kremlin to the Kremlin” which opened traffic on the federal speed highway M-12 “East”, coming from Moscow to Kazan.

Speaking at the event Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that launching of the new highway is the landmark even for the whole country. “I am happy to welcome participants of the rally “From the Kremlin to the Kremlin”. You were the first to travel by the M-12 highway. The day before I personally tested the hew highway by driving car. It is a remarkable route and wonderful condition for drivers. I congratulate all of you,” he said. 

, the Chairman of the Avtodor Company Board Vyacheslav Petushenko emphasized that 810 kilometers of the new highway were built is a record time of three years. “We are talking  about not just road construction but creation of the whole infrastructure including the highway itself, 18 wonderful pumping stations and 32 recreation zones. It is a unique and a very important project,” he stated. 

Leonid Panfilov, who headed the team of 15 domestic produced cars, highly appreciated the quality and comfort of the new highway.
