Rustam Minnikhanov tests the M-12 highway driving a car

On 21 December Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Prime Minister of the country Marat Khusnullin and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremonial opening of the M-12 “East” highway.

Before reporting to the President about the completion of the M-12 section in Tatarstan , Rustam Minnikhanov personally tested the hew highway by driving the Aurus manufactured in the republic across the bridge above the Volga. When driving, he evaluated the road cover quality and made several stops to check the roadside furniture such as pumping stations and catering facilities.
