Tatarstan shows growth in foreign trade turnover with CIS countries

On December 18, speaking at the International Exhibition-Forum Russia at the stand of Tatarstan in Moscow, it was underlined that under the cooperation of Tatarstan with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Republic of Belarus is in the top 5 partner countries. At the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Heads of Government of the CIS countries attended the exhibition «Russia» at the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh). The stand of the Republic of Tatarstan is one of the regions that the Russian Prime Minister has determined for visit. During the visit, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed the heads of the CIS Governments about the cooperation of Tatarstan with the Commonwealth countries. Thus, at the end of 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Tatarstan with the Republic of Belarus amounted to 818 million US dollars.

Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Tajikistan are among active partners of Tatarstan.
