Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to provide safety during New Year celebrations

On 16 December, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is necessary to attach special attention to safety issues during the New Year celebrations.

“The New Year celebrations are coming near and Christmas tree fairs will begin their work in cities and regions within the next couple of days. One of the main requirements to organization of festive events is provision of safety and public order,” he said and informed that municipalities have been made acquainted with regulations of the corresponding events.

“This is not just idle requirements but a standard. The issue of safety is the personal responsibility of heads of territories. We organize all coming New Year events with the Internal and Emergencies Ministries and Russian National Guard. We are living through very difficult times. The special military operation is going on. There exist different people. We should not simplify anything,” Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
