Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the highest award of the Russian Ministry of Finance – Sergey Witte medal

On December 15, at a joint summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Finance, the Department of the Federal Tax Service for the republic and the Department of the Federal Treasury for the republic in Kazan, Russian Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov handed in the highest award of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation- Sergey Witte medal

to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The award was established in 2019 and is awarded for special merits, high professional excellence and great contribution to solving problems in the development and implementation of public policy and legal regulation in the field of budget, tax, insurance, foreign exchange, banking, financial markets, public debt and others.Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov emphasized: “Rustam Minnikhanov worked as both Minister of Finance and Head of the republic. So the finances are in good hands, it is a pleasure, Rustam Nurgalievich, to award you with this medal”.
