Rais of Tatarstan looks round a school after capital overhaul at Vysokaya Gora

On 14 December, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rutsam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Vysokaya Gora region of the republic, visited the second edifice of the school N1 after the capital overhaul. The building was erected in 1975 and after overhaul it housed also junior classrooms for 284 schoolchildren. 

Rustam Minnikhanov looked round class rooms and the school canteen and talked to children. He highly appreciated the quality of repairs and wished children good studies. 

Provision of equal opportunities for schoolchildren both at cities and villages is one of the priorities of the National Project “Education” initiated by President Vladimir Putin, and the Rais of the republic was also told about other projects planned for implementation at Vysokaya Gora, including improvement of the central square at the Shkolnaya Street, development of the youth complex area and opening the People’s Friendship House in the local Culture Club.
