Tatarstan and Novikombank sign a cooperation agreement

On December 6, during his working visit to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Novikombank Elena Georgieva.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of further cooperation of Tatarstan with «Novikombank» and the implementation of projects in the region. Today, the bank’s branches operate in 25 regions of the Federation, there is also a branch in Kazan.

Minnikhanov congratulated the institution on its 30th anniversary - Novikombank was founded in October 1993, and wished it prosperity.

At the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and Elena Georgieva signed a cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and Novikombank.

According to the parties, this interaction opens new opportunities for the development of the republic’s economy, attraction of investments and creation of favorable conditions for business.

The parties intend to develop cooperation in the investment programmes, innovative expansion of the industrial complex of the region, as well as modernization of its enterprises. One of the priority areas of the partnership is lending to small and medium-sized enterprises, improving the payment infrastructure in Tatarstan, including through the introduction and use of the Faster Payments System, development of modern financial technologies in the territory of the entity. The implementation of federal and regional programmes to provide citizens with housing, including mortgage, the creation of new jobs is also in focus.
