Rustam Minnikhanov opens the renovated building of the Buinsk Drama Theatre

On December 5, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of opening of the Buinsk State Drama Theater after reconstruction.

The overhaul in the cultural institution started in April 2022. The building created the conditions for performances and rehearsals of professional artists and musical groups. In addition, the total area increased to 4,000 square meters and the capacity of the hall is more than 400 people. Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Buinsk Drama Theater fulfills an important mission of popularization of the culture of theatrical art of Tatarstan peoples.

The Rais of Tatarstan emphasized that the new theater building meets the most modern requirements.

Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova noted that the theatre and concert venue in Buinsk is opened under the national project “Culture”.

The head of the Buinsk region Ranis Kamartdinov thanked the leadership of the republic for supporting the projects important for the region.

Then Minnikhanov looked around the premises of the renovated theatre, appreciated the quality of repair and redevelopment, visited the dressing room, make-up room and main hall.
