On 1 December, speaking at a videoconference held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities of the republic with the participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the regional First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Lenar Garipov said that both federal and regional budgets maintained the full support of rural territories.
He informed that as of 1 December agricultural workers received 10.9m rubles of subsidies which makes 75.6 per cent of the yearly limit and that Russian Ministry of Agriculture has allocated additional 260m rubles on partial reimbursement of costs associated with grain sales which will be issued to agricultural producers as soon as possible. “Today the agribusiness completely provides the population of the republic with basic agricultural products. The republic consistently occupies leading positions in most agricultural products affordability in the Volga Federal District,” the regional deputy Minister said.
Lenar Garipov reminded that agricultural fairs are always in demand with customers and will be held till the end of the year in the republic. Thus during 12 days of their work the fairs sold 930m rubles of agricultural products, he concluded.
