Rais of Tatarstan visits Naberezhnye Chelny Polytechnic College

On November 30, the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev and Director General of Kazan Automaker Sergey Kogogin visited Naberezhnye Chelny Polytechnic College, which was founded in 1981.

Here they train electricians, welders, machine engineers, turners, milling operators, locksmith as well as specialists in vehicle repair. Currently there are 1,175 students studying at the college. Number of employees makes 140 people.

The college closely cooperates with businesses, including KAMAZ Automaker, TEMPO, KAMAZ-Energo, AvtoZilTsentr, Mechanical Transmission Plant, Setevaya Company - Naberezhnye Chelny Electric Networks. In 2019, the educational institution was awarded the status of a resource center, renovated classrooms and purchased new equipment. This year the roof of the dormitory was overhauled.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked around study rooms, laboratories of material science, programme management of machines, training and production workshops and welding site.
