Rustam Minnikhanov launches the construction of a new building for the Tattelecom computer center

On November 30, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Tattelecom Company Ayrat Nurutdinov took part in a solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the new building of the Tattelecom computer center.

Minnikhanov emphasized that this year the communications industry of Tatarstan celebrates 135 years, and Tattelecom company its 25 anniversary.

He emphasized that the new computing center will be the next stage of development of Tattelecom Company and will be in great demand in the capital of Tatarstan. In the future, the new facility will allow to process and analyze critical data of the company’s IT systems and ensure their protection against unauthorized access and other risks.

The total area of the center will be 3 thousand square meters, where 400 telecommunication racks will be placed. The construction of the facility will be carried out in two stages and is planned to be fully commissioned in 2026.
