Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a forum “Tatarstan business partners”

On 28 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the forum “Tatarstan business partners” held in Kazan on 27-18 November with participation of about 350 Tatar entrepreneurs from 44 regions of Russia and 14 foreign countries.

The forum was organized by the World Congress of the Tatars together with the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce, and opening the session the Chairman of the Congress National Council Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, emphasized that the objective of the forum is to gather Tatar entrepreneurs in Kazan and introduce them to each other thus facilitating development of new economic contacts with the republic. “If you want to work in Tatarstan we are always open for cooperation and are waiting for you,” he said.

In their speeches Tatar entrepreneurs from Samara, Astrakhan, Tyumen and Bishkek told about their experience in implementing projects in Tatarstan and development of joint projects with the republic. Thus the chairman of the Council of the public organization “Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of Altay region Tatars” Anvar Aminov told about coming completion of the construction of the Center for  the Mountain Altay snow leopard preservation.

Residents of a Tatar settlement of Yuldus in Kurgan region expressed their gratitude to Tatarstan for the support given in the restoration of the village which nearly completely burnt out in spring of the current year. Giving his comments, Rustam Minnikhanov said that reconstruction of the settlement became a manifestation of the integrity of people when in a difficult period of time they united to help.

The Rais of the republic emphasized that the forum has become a good platform for maintaining and developing relations with Tatarstan from other regions of Russia and abroad. “We are proud of you, learn a lot from you and also can share results of our work with you. Today we have discussed very important issues including the support of our country during the special military operation. You also did not stay aside and I am grateful to you for that,"Rustam Minnikhanov said to participants of the session. 

He stated that one of priority tasks is preservation and promotion of Mother tongue. “We are ready to give any support in studying Tatar language. Our children and grandchildren must know their mother’s tongue. All the rest is in the genes of Tatars -love for their parents, labour and their religion.  This is very important and should be given a support,” the Rais of Tatarstan said.

Rustam Minnikhanov expressed special thanks to the World Congress of the Tatars for organizing the forum. ”This form of communication is much-needed. All over Russia we demonstrate that no matter where we live, our Motherland needs us. Also remember, that we are always waiting you in Kazan,” he concluded and handed in a number of state awards of the republic.
