Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the opening of the second stage of the Ozon distribution centre

On November 21, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony of launching the second stage of the Ozon wholesale distribution centre at the territory of Zelenodolsk Industrial Park. With the launch of the second stage of the logocentre, the storage area will almost double – from 23 to 43 thousand square meters. The fulfillment center will place 10 million goods of different categories, and about 2,000 people will work at the facility.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Ozon for the implementation of large-scale investment projects in Tatarstan.

Managing Director of Ozon Sergey Belyakov emphasized that e-commerce in Tatarstan is a model of successful synergy between business and the leadership of the republic.

Then Minnikhanov visited Kazan customs post, which moved to the territory of Zelenodolsk Industrial park in October. The post's area of responsibility includes Kazan, Zelenodolsk and 18 other regions of the republic, in which 600 participants conduct foreign economic activity. These include such large enterprises of Tatarstan as Nefis, POZiS, Egida, Denoflex, Technofort and other companies.
