Rustam Minnikhanov discusses cooperation issues with the Chinese Launch Company

On 20 November at their meeting in the Government House of the republic in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and a delegation from the Chinese Launch Automotive Technology Company headed by is Vice-President Zhang Zhe discussed various options of interaction and possible joint projects.

The Launch is one of the first independent transport engineering companies in Cuna, the full production cycle of which included product planning, design, development, modelling, porotypes production, verification testing and work with suppliers. The Company also carries out R&D in the sphere of auto electronics and design in the spheres of aircraft, railway transport and medical devices.

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan has active cooperation with Chinese partners and last year the trade turnover grew by more than 58 per cent, reaching 1.6bn dollars and it continues to grow in the current year. 

“Chinese business actively works in Tatarstan implementing industrial projects and building production capacities. There are many spheres for interaction,” he said. 

The Rais of the republic stated that the Launch is a well-known company having unique competences and rich experience in the sphere of transport engineering. “We are interested in cooperation with your company,” he concluded.
