On November 15, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a solemn opening ceremony of the seventh stage of the M-12 Vostok express highway in Tatarstan.
The seventh stage was built in record time - the work started in April 2021 and were completed in November this year.
As many as 35 artificial structures, including a wildlife crossing, ecoduc, 21 overpasses and 12 bridges have been built on the road section.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishutin welcomed the ceremony participants in a videoconference mode.
The length of this stage in Tatarstan is 72 km. It starts from the border of the republic with Chuvashia to the intersection with the P241 Kazan - Buinsk - Ulyanovsk highway. In total, 153 km of highways, which fall to Tatarstan and Chuvashia, were put into operation.
