Rustam Minnikhanov hands in Tupolev Award to Rector of St Petersburgg Polytechnic University after Peter the Great Andrey Rudskoy

On 10 November in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the International Tupolev Award to the Rector of St Petersburg Polytechnic University after Peter the Great Andrey Rudskoy for a set of works in research and development of a wide range of constructional materials, including metal-carbon composites, intermetallide and composite powder materials for additive and hybrid technologies.

The Tupolev award was established by the decree of the Rais of Tatarstan in 2014 and is given for outstanding transactions, discoveries and inventions in engineering sciences.
