Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitriy Krutoy visits Innopolis

On 9 November the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitriy Krutoy accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov came to the City of Innopois where he visited several infrastructural facilities of the IT city and the Special Economic Zone of Innopolis, including the Center for Robotics and Mechatronics Components Technology, the Unmanned Technologies Center, the AI lab. Electronics and Micro-electronics Design Center and the Center for Support and Development, the objectives of which is to develop science-consuming robotic products and services for industrial partners and to implement new educational programmes.

The guest also visited the Popov Technical Park and the new InnoPark in the sphere of high tech which was put into operation last December. Both parks actively develop robotics, electronics and unmanned aircraft projects and the Russian Ministry of Trade and Industry included the InnoPark into the register of Russian high tech parks which are eligible for the state support measures.

Dmitriy Krutoy gave high assessment to the potential of cooperation of Belarus with Innopolis enterprises and said: “We can see prospects in introducing high tech skills of the Special Economic Zone residents to work of our industrial giants MAZ, MTZ and BELAZ. We also expect a high impact from the cooperation of Innopolis with Belarus High Tech Park and academic institutions in the top requested segments of the IT branches such as unmanned technologies, computer vision and digital twins development.”
