Rustam Minnikhanov discusses the prospects for implementing joint projects with a large Chinese construction corporation

«China Railways Sixth Corporation» is a large Chinese construction corporation headquartered in Beijing, implementing projects in construction of railway lines, highways, buildings and city utilities, bridges, tunnels, ports and waterways, hydraulic and hydroelectric structures, stations, terminals.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan actively cooperates with Chinese partners. Trade turnover increased by more than 58 percent and amounted to 1.6 billion US dollars. “Chinese business is actively working in Tatarstan: industrial projects are being implemented, production facilities are being built. Our contacts with China have significantly intensified this year. Mutual visits are being made, projects are being developed», the Rais of Tatarstan said. He said that in early September, Kazan hosted the first international forum «ROSTKI: Russia and China - mutually beneficial cooperation». More than 7,000 people from 25 countries and 58 regions of Russia took part in it. «The Forum showed mutual interest of Russia and China in deepening cooperation in various directions», Minnikhanov said.

The meeting participants discussed the prospects for joint projects, in particular, interaction under the implementation of the project for the construction of a logistics complex named after Deng Xiaoping in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
