On 7 November the delegation of Tatarstan headed by the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov visited Karakalpakstan State Fine Arts Museum after I.V. Savitskiy which is one of the largest art museums of Uzbekistan.
The peculiarity of its fine arts collection, which is quite often named the avant-garde, is that it exhibits works of non-formal Russian artists of the XX century.
By the number and quality of fine art works of Russia of the XX century, fine art experts quite often compare Karakalpakstan Savitskiy Museum with the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg.
