Rustam Minnikhanov looks round facilities of former Karakalpakstan territorial cotton terminal

On 7 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who with an official delegation of the republic came to a working trip to Uzbekistan, looked round facilities of former Karakalpakstan territorial cotton terminal, which has the total area of nearly 7 thousand square meters and is located near the center of Nukus with a railway branch passing nearby. 

Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to the administrations of the Special Economic Zone of Alabuga and the Khimgrad JSC to study the potential of the territory and analyze possible projects which can be located here. He also attracted attention to the importance of establishing an educational center for training specialists.

“Availability of energy resources, sufficient amount of areas, beneficial tax regime and most important -  human capital – if you have all this this it is possible to work,” the Rais of Tatarstan emphasized and gave an errand to organize a working group and submit proposals.
