Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan makes a substantial contribution into protection of the Fatherland and strengthening of Russian statehood

On 4 November, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan makes a substantial contribution into protection of the Fatherland and strengthening of Russian statehood, sovereignty and integrity of the country and is an example of peace and concord among representatives of various ethnicities and confessions. 

Today Russia celebrates a great state holiday of the National Unity Day and Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized: “Its meaning under conditions of growing pressure on Russia is especially important. In the special military operation the military of various nationalities and confessions stand side by side, protecting our common Motherland. The whole country, comprising more than 190 ethnicities, which live in peace and concord, supports its heroes.” 

He also stated that in the beginning of the next week – on 6 November the republic celebrates the Day of Tatarstan Constitution. “The fundamental law has become the expression of the will of multiethnic people of the republic and their striving for preservation of stability in the life-changing period of history of the country. Today the Constitution is the key for further successful social and economic development of Tatarstan and the guarantor of protection of human rights as well as of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional concord”, the Rais of Tatarstan added and congratulated all residents with the National Unity Day and the coming Day of Tatarstan Constitution.
