Rustam Minnikhanov: In the last years we can see the increase of the civic engagement, solidarity and unity of our citizens

On 2 November in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in diplomas and honorary badges to winners of the awards of the Rais of Tatarstan for contribution into the development of civic society institutes development in the republic. 

Speaking at the ceremony, the Rais of the republic stated that the interest to the award is growing and the competition is held with the active participation of representatives of the community from all over the republic. “In the last years we can see the increase of the civic engagement, solidarity and unity of our citizens and the active participation of the noncommercial sector in solving tasks of the redevelopment of the republic, including overcoming consequences of COVID, humanitarian help under conditions of the special military operation and preservation of inter-ethnic peace and concord”.  

After having briefly told about the award winners, such as the “Planet of Kindness” from Yelabuga headed by Tansylu Khusnullina, the Tatarstan Union of War Veterans , The Moms of Kazan and the Sons of the Fatherland and others, Rustam Minnikhanov concluded :”I want to congratulate all of you with awards and express to you my sincere gratitude for the development of civic society institutes and contribution into socially important projects aimed at increasing the quality of life of our residents.”

The award is bestowed every year  from 2015 and 23 famous public leaders and 34 non-commercial organization of the republic have become its winners.
